A range of distributors incorporating motion and control valves such as cross line relief valves and over-centre valves are available to be incorporated onto the motors. The distributor is a separate component, with the same basic design fitting all motors from the GM05 to the GM5A.

The standard distributor is the D40 which has 1″ BSP ports but other variations can be specified which offer SAE ports, higher flow capacity and valve incorporation. It is also possible for SAI (GB) Limited to supply specially designed valve blocks which are bolted directly to the motor distributor.
